The ABNB Donates to School Path Initiative

During the month of March The Austin Boro News Blog exceeded the threshold for receiving payment from Google for the operation of that blog.

The amount received was $103.34.

Today, that amount was deposited into the School Path Initiative saving's account.  All monies earned by the Austin Boro News Blog will be donated to the School Path Initiative in the future.

The total in the School Path Initiative saving's account now stands at $386.97.  The saving's account is with the JVB Northern Tier formerly the First National Bank of Port Allegany.

The School Path Initiative was created to replace the lights along the path from Main Street to the grounds of the Austin Area School District, Austin, Pennsylvania, which has been completed.

The School Path Initiative is ongoing in order to maintain the lights and also the bridge crossing the Freeman Run Creek.  It is believed that the bridge will need to be replaced in 7 - 10 years due to the rust and deterioration of it's underbelly.
