Austin Fireworks Saturday July 3, 2021

 

It's almost time!!! We can't wait for Saturday to get here so we can light up the sky! Hope to see you all there!
The APC (Austin Pride Committee) is pleased to present our Annual Independence Day Fireworks Display on Saturday, 7/3/21 @ the Austin Area jr/sr High School.
Concessions will be open at 5:00 PM and the Display will begin at dark! No charge for admittance.
Concessions / Vendors will include:

Memories From Day's Past: School Path Lights Replaced on June 8, 2014

 Spearheaded by Borough Councilman Mike Fowler, funds to replace the vandalized lights on the School Path were raised through a GoFundMe fundraiser, and installed labor-free by John "Huggy" Rotello and David Ruberto.

Memorial Day 2015 Bridges Named In Honor of Three Local Soldiers KIA

 The 2015 Memorial Day Ceremony held at One Town Square, Main Street, Austin, Pennsylvania.

 During the ceremony Mayor James Setzer read a Proclamation naming the PFC Robert I. Roberts, PVT Perry J. Hooftallen and PFC Fred J. VanWhy Memorial Bridges. These three soldiers were Killed In Action while fighting in the Korean War.
